Here on Oppo and the internet in general, there are a certain class off cars that are revered- the enthusiast car for the common man. Think Miata/Fo(i)ST/BRZ/XJ etc. So what would you classify as those cars? My list below:
Original Mini
BMW 2002
Mazda Miata
FoST
FiST
MR2
WRX
Evo
GTI
XJ
BRZ/FRS/86
2Fast2Furious: Rotary Powered

XJ? The American one or the British one? I never knew either one was a driver’s car.

I wouldn’t, because the “Common man” isn’t an enthusiast.

The Jeep; it’s not really a driver’s car in the traditional since, but offroad I’d count it.

By that I basically meant a vehicle which appeals to enthusiasts which is attainable; basically the difference between an MG and a McLaren.

Can confirm. I’ve had it for 15ish years. It’s an utter pile of donkey puke, but man it will go anywhere I point it!
